President Welty's Vision for Fresno State Students

Established in 1997,
the Pinnacle Society recognizes contributors for their cumulative giving. Pinnacle Founders have been recognized for their lifetime giving of $100,000 or more. These Founding Members were Fresno State's philanthropic pioneers. Their generosity has enhanced programs, assisted students, built facilities and greatly benefited university programs.

The representative symbol of the Pinnacle Society is a reproduction of Ansel Adams' "Moon and Half Dome," a striking image representing vision, foresight and investment in Fresno State students and programs.

New Pinnacle members, now at the $500,000 El Capitan level, receive a medallion engraved with the Adams image.  At the million dollar and above Paramount level, members are presented with a custom-designed crystal spire. (Pictured at right)

As of 2005, two Pinnacle levels were being initiated: El Capitan for donors at the $500,000 cumulative level and Paramount for donors of $1 million or more. Nineteen Pinnacle Founders already qualify at the Paramount level and presented with a custom-designed crystal obelisk.
