Our Stories

Giving to Fresno State is a personal promise and decision to become involved in the university's future.
Some people are enthusiastic supporters of a specific school or program. Others discover a particular scholarship fund that speaks to their interests.

  • “Why I Give”
The stories of employees who give to The Campaign for Fresno State are as varied and interesting as the employees themselves.

This video called "Why I Give" was created to capture the testimonials of a cross-section of on-campus donors. Featured are Dr. Charles Boyer, dean of the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology; Helen Bailey, administrative assistant in Advancement; Dr. Maria Sanchez, professor in the Lyles College of Engineering; and Paul Garza, confidential administrative assistant in Administrative Services.

Whether it is the wish for everyone to pull together, the chance to give more opportunities to students or recognizing the need to invest in our future, each has personal reasons for giving.

These stories of giving showcase donors who give and the faculty and students who benefit.
